Design how your agent works, step by step, on a canvas
A job flow is the agent's playbook. Drop in agent steps with their own instructions, objectives and exits, route with AI conditions and switches, and add scenarios that jump in whenever a contact goes off-script. Every conversation remembers exactly where it is.
A closer look at Visual job flows
Steps that stay until the job is done
An agent step is a thinking agent with its own instructions, character, tools, objectives and exits. The conversation stays on that step, with the agent answering every message, until it takes an exit, a tag rule matches, or every required objective has been collected. A step with no objectives and no exits stays forever, so a single step is already a complete agent.
- Objectives the agent collects and saves as it goes
- Exits the agent chooses, or that fire when a tag appears
- Per-step character, tools and knowledge
- When a step exits, the next one runs in the same turn and everything goes out as one reply
AI conditions and switches that decide instantly
Conditions and switches read the conversation and route it without saying anything to the contact. A condition follows a true or false branch; a switch picks one of several cases, with an else. Use them to split homeowners from renters, hot leads from tyre-kickers, or support from sales.
- True / false conditions and multi-case switches
- An else branch so no conversation gets stuck
- Decided from the whole conversation, not keywords
- No message is sent while routing
Scenarios catch the moments your script didn't plan for
Scenarios live in their own lane and are scored on every inbound message. Each has a trigger description, a sensitivity threshold from 1 to 10 and a priority, so “I want to speak to a human” or “stop texting me” is handled the moment it happens. When a scenario finishes, an unconnected exit returns the conversation to where the main flow left off.
- Trigger description plus 1–10 sensitivity threshold
- Highest priority wins when several match
- Optional re-entry with a five-message cooldown
- Return to the main flow exactly where it paused

Visual job flows: common questions
Do I need to build a big flow to get started?
No. A single agent step with instructions is a complete agent. Add steps, conditions and scenarios as you need them.
Does routing send a message to the contact?
No. Conditions and switches decide instantly from the conversation and never write to the contact.
What happens when a scenario finishes?
Connect its exit to anything you like, or leave it unconnected to return to where the main flow was.
Can I test a flow before publishing?
Yes. The Test & Debug tab runs the unsaved canvas against simulated conversations.
